Charles has been a passionate performer and teacher for 30 years and welcomes new voice students.  He combines his love of music, knowledge of singing technique, experience with many musical styles and expertise in foreign languages to provide the student with the tools necessary to improve their singing in a profound way.

The lesson atmosphere is easy, relaxing and fun, although he works hard to attain results for every singer.

Each singer’s unique issues, desires and aspirations are taken into consideration.

Special success has been made with older students, many in their 60's and 70's, although he has worked with all ages and all voice types.

Typically lasting an hour, each lesson is unique and tailored to the student. During the lesson, students will work on vocal technique through various exercises, with close coaching from Charles.

Charles will also work with each student to select music that fits the vocal range, singing, and artistic style of the student, and suggest pieces to prepare for performance or to help refine technique.

Together, Charles and his students regularly arrange for casual concerts, giving those who wish opportunities to perform and become involved in the local Seattle music scene.
